Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 April 2026. This page explains how UK Net Pay handles data, cookies, analytics, and complaints in a UK-focused context.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

UK Net Pay operates under the UK data protection framework, including UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, PECR, and relevant changes introduced by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, which became law on 19 June 2025. We follow a privacy-first approach and aim to apply data protection by design wherever possible.

2. Calculator Data

We do not collect or store your name, address, or specific salary figures just because you use the calculator. Salary calculations are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to our servers as part of the normal calculator flow.

3. Analytics, Advertising, and Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to track anonymous traffic patterns, and we may use Google AdSense to show relevant ads. These third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic and advertising performance. Where required, non-essential cookies should only be activated after a valid consent choice.

See our separate Cookie Policy page for more detail on cookie categories and consent handling.

4. Contact Form and Email Enquiries

If you submit a message through our contact form, the information you provide may be received and stored through our site hosting, form handling, or email workflow so we can respond to you. We use that information only for handling your enquiry and related business communication.

5. Your Rights

Under UK law, you have the right to know what data is held about you. Because normal calculator usage stays in your browser, we generally do not hold those figures ourselves. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have rights to request correction, erasure, restriction, or to object to certain processing. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

6. Complaints and Data Requests

If you have concerns about data handling, contact admin@uknetpay.co.uk. We aim to respond without undue delay and, where UK data protection law applies to a request, normally within one calendar month. We are also preparing our documented complaints process in line with the DUAA timetable ahead of 19 June 2026.
